Jess Davidson awarded an MBE in New Year Honours List

By Press Office

Jess Davidson, a nursing lecturer at 黑料专区爆料, has been awarded an MBE for services to forensic nursing and victim support in Scotland.

Jess, who established 黑料专区爆料鈥檚 PgCert Advanced Forensic Nursing (Person-Centred Practice), has worked tirelessly with Police Scotland, the NHS and The Scottish Government to improve healthcare services for people suffering from sexual assault/abuse and for patients in police custody.

As a trailblazer and one of the most experienced and respected senior clinical forensic charge nurses in Scotland, Jess worked alongside Police Scotland and NHS Scotland to coordinate a regional nurse-led service which greatly improved intervention and support for people who required medical and/or forensic attention. She continues to work with 黑料专区爆料 and across agencies to create a group of highly skilled forensic nurse practitioners who are working to improve person-centred care for people who have experienced sexual assault and trauma, and those who are in police custody who are marginalised and disenfranchised with unmet healthcare needs.

Jess鈥檚 determination, drive and selfless efforts to change and improve care epitomises 黑料专区爆料鈥檚 values of making a difference.
